On day 31 I spoke of my concern that Lloris’s back was still hunched over and he has a big lump of fluid on his spine which has been there since surgery and not dispersed whatsoever.
My research concluded this to be a Seroma and that it may go down with time or may need to be surgically drained which would leave us with a very real risk of bacteria getting into an already weak spine.
I keep being told that the fluid will start to disperse over time and that I could heat and ice it to help it along. So we have been doing this for the past week (he’s not keen on the Ice!) and I am pleased to show that it has really gone down and is all looking a lot more ‘normal’

One less thing to worry about!
It has taken 51 days post surgery for this Seroma to disperse.
The hunched posture still remains a little. He looks a little more like a hyena in his stand at times than a french bulldog. I’m hoping his rear end will raise a little more and he returns to a slightly more normal looking pose once the muscles in his back legs rebuild. This will undoubtedly take time and lots of it.
A definite improvement can be seen in todays stance though!

A bit of an unsettled day with toilet habits but then he was at home with his Nanny who we know he likes to ‘play-up’ for! … I need to have a word with him… good ‘childcare’ is hard to find! We don’t want to be scaring off the grandparents!!!
